Whether you are coming home from a grueling day in the field carrying your bowhunting equipment or getting off work, St Patricks Day is awesome day to have fun and have a few cocktails. Here are some of my favorite highballs to enjoy during St. Patrick’s day.

1 sprig mint
Add first three items to a blender and blend until smooth at low speed. Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with a sprig of mint. Best to serve with a straw.

Irish Coffee
2 ½ oz expresso coffee
1 ½ oz Irish whiskey
1 tsp brown sugar
1 oz whipping cream
Pour the hot coffee, Irish whiskey and brown sugar into a coffee mug and stir well. Add the cream to mix on top.

Irish Pride
3 shots green Creme de Menthe
3 shots Amaretto
2 oz lemon juice
Mix the ingredients in a tall glass and stir well.

Since ancient times of warriors carrying samick verna longbows and horton crossbows the tradition from the emerald isle is green beer. St Patricks day is a sure bet to be a great time if you enjoy a few of these awesome recipes.
