Fun & Frolics at The Office Xmas Party

The office Christmas party is an popular event that companies either choose to keep simple; for example small businesses tend to retreat to a local pub after work for a pre-festive drink and maybe lunch, where as larger firms tend to hire out venues such as function rooms and hotels.

Everyone looks forward to letting there hair down at the christmas party, so make sure there is plenty of music, games and an excellent catering facilities available, to see what most venues can offer you the internet is a good place to start looking.

By arranging a well known and respected catering company to supply the food at your xmas party you can be assured your staff wont be unhappy with the food. This is why it is best to hire a Private Catering you still want the grub to be great!

Xmas parties are notorious for bringing people out of there shell, especially after a few drinks. As well as a good DJ there is a great selection of party games to play which will have everyone involoved from old to young. My favourite games played in the past are:

Secret Santa: The best way to make this game a success is by planning it a weeks before the do, simply write down the name of each guest and place in box, each person must then pick out a name. Keeping the name anonymous from others, you will then be required to buy a suprise gift for that person, i usually spend upto a fiver.

This gift will then be given out at the party, a good chance to have a joke around, I once received a crate of beer¦result!

Name That Christmas Song: a simple party game where teams are made and have to guess a melody of short outcuts of christmas tunes, which in turn have to be written down naming both the artist and song title, this party game appeals to all ages.
